On a Personal Note
Hi! It’s Leslie here! It is easier to let others speak for me about me. I am not comfortable talking about myself… but, here it goes…
I have been very blessed to work at a career that I really love. I have WONDERFUL clients and can count on one hand the few that were not. That is pretty special for almost 30 years in real estate.
I married the love of my life in 1992. He and his two children, Morgan (6) and Mallary (4), were a package deal. With kids in tow, I would go and show homes. At a very young age they had “little people” pride in being able to tell adults (especially their dad) the difference between a split entry, ranch or front to back.
Pat was subject to transfer and soon after we married, he sacrificed his career so that I could stay in Kansas City. Pat is successfully self-employed and as it turned out, he is living his dream job too.
Pat and I have traveled many times to the Dominican Republic (see copy of Northland Dispatch article) and have actively built many homes and participated in the building of a hospital that serves a wide community in the Dominican Republic close to the Haitian border. We have taken each one of our children when they were teenagers. The oldest, Morgan, wanted to go back for his “senior” trip (without parents in tow, and did.) Our foster daughter, Amanda, experienced her first plane ride to the Dominican Republic soon after she joined our family. Our daughter, Mallary, was so taken with the people, that she came back with a beautiful head of braids, deep tan and a passion for serving and protecting others. All three of our children have wonderful spouses and kids of their own, for a total of four grandchildren. We consider ourselves very blessed.
Besides my passion for real estate I enjoy fitness, bicycling, boating and equestrian sports. Known to try wake boarding, I much prefer my 4-legged friends to the waves.
I started in this business chasing the love of homes. I’ve stayed in it because of the relationships with my clients and the joy from helping them.
It is my sincere hope that one day, “My Experience Will Be Your Next Move.”
